In a fractured China teetering on the edge of all out war with the empire of Japan, the province of Shanxi becomes a bastion of resistance under the iron will of warlord Yan Xishan. Set in an alternate WWII universe, the Taiyuan Arsenal crafts its own legend: a rugged copy of the infamous C96 Mauser "Broom Handle Pistol", but in China it becomes locally known as the “Box Cannon.” Issued to the Shanxi Police, it’s more than just a weapon — but a symbol of defiance in a world coming undone.
